Memorial at a Double Murder Site


Highland Park Neighborhood, Figueroa Street, Los Angeles Here is the police report:

Highland Park
Last Friday we had the tragic shooting on Figueroa Avenue at approximately 3:25 PM. Our homicide detectives have been working hard to solve this crime. This occurred in broad daylight on a busy street yet we do not have lots of witnesses to this crime. We do have some leads. If anyone has any information please contact Detective P.J. Prayer vigil for two Highland Park murder victims (Alejandro Garcia and Carlos Hernandez) on Friday March, 20th, 2009 at 6 PM, at Piedmont Park (vicinity of Ave 61 and Figueroa).

The Lady on the Billboard was a witness. She smiled through it all.

so so sad....I hope there is some kind of justice ...I wonder if violence is up everywhere- it is up here- but has been for monthes....kind of like this .....I call it WTF murders and violence- because when they interiview bystanders that is pretty much what they always say." I have no idea- they were such a nice person" etc ...

and now we are starting to get disgruntled laid off workers killing themselves and their families.....

The kids in the schools know now, if anyone shouts. "pancake," they flatten to the floor of the classroom immediately, no questions asked, to minimize the chance of a stray slug whether you are on the playground or in a classroom.

The kindergartners know this, all the kids know. PANCAKE! Get to the Floor. Now
